2023-24 Cost of Living Payments
The Disability Cost of Living Payment is intended to offset the additional costs for those who have a disability.
You may be entitled to a Disability Cost of Living Payment of £150 if you receive any of any of the following benefits:
- Disability Living Allowance
- Personal Independence Payment (PIP)
- Attendance Allowance
- Scottish Disability Benefits
- Armed Forces Independence Payment
- Constant Attendance Allowance
- War Pension Mobility Supplement
You must have received a payment of one of these benefits for 1 April 2023 to get the Disability Cost of Living Payment.
Most people should have received the £150 Disability Cost of Living Payment automatically between 20 June 2023 and 4 July 2023.
You can report a missing Cost of Living Payment if you think you should have had one of the following payments, but you cannot see it in your bank, building society or credit union account. You should not report the same missing payment more than once.

2022 Cost of Living Payments
In 2022, a £150 Disability Cost of Living Payment was made if you claimed the following 'extra costs' disability benefits:
- Disability Living Allowance
- Personal Independence Payment (PIP)
- Attendance Allowance
- Scottish Disability Benefits
- Armed Forces Independence Payment
- Constant Attendance Allowance
- War Pension Mobility Supplement
You must have received a payment of one of these qualifying benefits for 25 May 2022 to get the payment.
Most people were paid the £150 Disability Cost of Living Payment between 20 September 2022 and the beginning of October 2022.
Most people should have received their 2022 Cost of Living Payment. Contact the office that pays your benefit or tax credits if you think you should have had one of the following payments but you cannot see it in your bank, building society or credit union account.
