From the 7th of September, over 2.5 million people in the West Midlands, including people aged 75 and over, people who are immunosuppressed and health and care workers, are able to book online or by calling 119.
Invitations will be landing on doormats across the region, inviting people to book their appointment for the following week without delay; when it is your turn to book in for the vaccine, the NHS will contact you – you do not need to contact the NHS
In the coming weeks, over 50s, those with a weakened immune system, health and social care workers and care home residents and housebound people, in line with guidance set out by the JCVI, will be contacted by the NHS to have their autumn Covid-19 booster
The NHS in the West Midlands will also be offering the flu vaccine; eligible individuals may be offered the flu and COVID jab at the same time, subject to supply, with the doses approved to be co-administered.
