Dementia is growing within our population, with an estimated 850,000 people living with it in the UK. In Kenilworth and Southam, 887 people or 1% of our community, live with it. As part of increasing awareness about this disease, I attended the Dementia Action Week parliamentary drop-in, where I met Laurence Geller CBE.
