It was great to visit Wellesbourne Dementia Café with Cllr Penny-Anne O’Donnell (Warwickshire County Council) and Cllr Anne Parry (Stratford District Council) to discuss how local services can best support those affected by dementia.
The café is run by an amazing small team of volunteers, including Heather and Paul Dowler, and provides invaluable support to those with dementia and their carers in the South Warwickshire area.
Talk Dementia holds weekly dementia friendly cafes in a number of venues including, Shipston Lodge, Wellesbourne Village Hall, Tysoe Village Hall and once a month at Compton Verney House.
