I visited Vivarail recently to see for myself how they are leading the way in repurposing old District Line rolling stock into energy-efficient electric trains.
Vivarail has designed, built and patented the UK’s only battery train and accompanying charging systems and has created over 200 engineering and technical jobs in the West Midlands and the North East.
