It has taken longer than any of us would have liked, but I welcome the fact that we now have a date for a full resumption of services from Kenilworth Station. The full service is due to be reinstated early next year.
On behalf of regular users of the station, who have put up with unreliable trains and a variable replacement bus service, and all those who want to see the station succeed, the Leader of the County Council and I have been applying considerable pressure to West Midlands Trains in what have been sometimes robust conversations. I am pleased to see this progress and look forward to seeing the reliability of the service improve.
