Tonight at 6:30pm is the public meeting at The Grange Hall in Southam regarding the Resourcing to Risk consultation. I am not able to attend as I am in Westminster. However, I am asking the following:
Although these proposals make provision for a response to come from Southam Fire Station during the day and evening, it is less clear what the effect will be on night-time cover for Southam and the surrounding rural area, where a response will come from a different station. What information is available to illustrate that effect, and if there will be a worsening of night-time response times if these proposals are implemented, what is the Fire Service’s assessment of the risks that would arise from such a worsening?
