Although planning is a matter for local and not national government and MPs do not decide planning applications, I share many of the concerns expressed about the proposed development on the airfield site and I have met representatives from Stratford District Council and Wellesbourne Parish Council to discuss it further. I will do my best to ensure that the interests of those who live next to the airfield and of the wider Wellesbourne community are considered properly.
