I was happy to recently meet with Dr Joseph Smyth, a finalist for the STEM for Britain event, representing WMG, University of Warwick. It was fascinating to hear about his research and work in the management of motion sickness for future vehicles. Motion sickness is a condition that affects almost two in three of us and as we move towards a world of autonomous or semi-autonomous vehicles, its management and moderation is of growing significance. I wish Dr Smyth every success in this event and with his work.
