The figures for the prevalence of the Covid 19 virus in Kenilworth and Southam do not support the constituency being in Tier 3. The reason we will be from next week is because a decision has been made to group Warwickshire with Coventry and Solihull. Hospitality businesses will not be able to open next week not because of the virus rates where they are, but because of rates across a much wider and more diverse geographical area. I do not think that is right and said so in the House of Commons this morning. I will now be asking the Secretary of State for an urgent review of Warwickshire’s position, in addition to the more general review of how areas have been grouped together I think is also necessary.
