I was delighted to be part of South Warwickshire at Parliament Day 2018 today. South Warwickshire is a thriving area with huge potential. My appointment as Secretary of State for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport in July 2018 has given me a unique opportunity to get involved in new sectors and challenges, many of which touched those attending in some way. As we look towards Coventry City of Culture 2021 and the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham, I want all of us to benefit from the unique spotlight that will soon be placed on the Midlands.
