I was very grateful to West Midlands Ambulance Service (WMAS) for hosting me recently.  

I met some of the fantastic staff and it was clear that they provide an excellent level of care to those who they are called out to.   

I appreciate that there are significant pressures on the service and that it is a very demanding job, so I was also pleased to hear about some of the wellbeing initiatives that have been put in place to support WMAS staff. I thank them for all that they do.
