Delighted to attend and speak at Warwickshire County Council’s Culture and Heritage Strategy Conference, and to welcome WCC’s focus in this area.
At a time when our society is divided, culture, heritage and sport are among the things that bring us together. They are also very important to our economy, including in support of tourism. The creative industries more broadly are growing faster than most other sectors of the economy and are creating jobs least likely to be replaced by automation and artificial intelligence.
Warwickshire has plenty to offer in the area and we are right to promote our culture and heritage.
