It was useful to sit down with Angela John, Mayor of Southam, and Francis Burrows, Head of Independent Living at Orbit, to discuss the future of the café at the Tithe Lodge in Southam. We all affirmed the importance of the café for residents of Tithe Lodge and as a community hub for the whole of the town. A new contractor must now be found and if you, or someone you know, would be interested in taking on this exciting community asset, then please contact Brian at Tithe Lodge, to register your interest. In the meantime, I will continue to press Orbit to ensure that food services relied upon by residents are provided by alternative means.
