On Monday I met with West Midlands Trains (WMT) to raise concerns about their decision to suspend West Midlands Railway rail services from calling at Kenilworth Train Station.
I welcome the commitment given to me by WMT to restoring services as soon as they are able, and they further reassured me of their long-term commitment to Kenilworth Train Station and the ticket office, which also houses a local small business. I will be meeting again with WMT in a month’s time to review the situation.
In the meantime if you are a keyworker and usually rely on this rail service to get to work, WMT may be able to help with alternatives.
