It has been a privilege to sit around the Cabinet table for five years and to serve in Government for the last nine years. I wish the new Prime Minister and his administration the best of luck.
Although legislators rarely have easy decisions to make, I have found this week’s vote on the Terminally Ill Adults (End of Life) Bill (often called the Assisted Dying Bill) one of the hardest to cast in nearly 20 years of being a Member of Parliament.
