I was pleased to participate as a panellist last Thursday at the Institute for Government’s event about how political parties can improve ethical standards in government. This follows the IfG’s proposals on rebuilding trust in public life – a report showing how ethical standards in government continue to matter greatly to members of the public and the report by the Committee on Standards in Public Life when I was a member.
