A festive scene of Chesterton Windmill has been chosen to appear on the front of the official Christmas card for Kenilworth and Southam MP, Jeremy Wright. The design by nine year old Nuala Chiba, a pupil at Harbury CE Primary School was picked out of hundreds of designs submitted by children from across the constituency.
Mr Wright visited Harbury CE Primary School to congratulate Nuala on her winning design and to present her with a framed certificate, art set and tickets to see the Jack and the Beanstalk at the Spa Centre in Leamington.
Mr Wright said “It was a very tough decision to pick a winner, each entry has reminded me of the talent and creativity of our local children. Christmas is a wonderful time for many children and the entries have captured the magic of Christmas through their eyes.”
“Well done to Nuala and to the runners-up, as well as to everybody who sent in such fantastic entries, and a big thank you to all of the teachers and staff across my constituency who encouraged their classes to take part.”
