The government has released new guidance for businesses on how to make workplaces as safe as possible. This was developed in consultation with 250 businesses, unions, industry leaders and devolved administration. In addition, BEIS has made an extra £14 million made available for the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) for additional call centre employees, inspectors and equipment.
